In addition to the research articles from Hampden-Sydney students and their advisors, Volume 14 includes a career retrospective from Dr. Anne Lund, the first female doctorate to teach in the Hampden-Sydney Biology Department; a profile of Dr. Mike Duncan ’02, fisheries manager with Montana Fish, Wildlife, & Parks; and a look at the work of Assistant Professor of Biology Scott Starr, who is leading the campus apiary and beekeeping program.
